Founder's story
I started Kagami out of a growing concern that most toothpastes focus solely on cleaning while overlooking the deeper connection between oral health and overall well-being.
As I dug deeper, I discovered how vital a balanced oral microbiome is, not just for fresh breath and cavity prevention, but also for healthy gums and long-term wellness. This realization led me to the science of oral probiotics, especially Lactobacillus paracasei, which can help restore harmony in the mouth by supporting the growth of beneficial bacteria.
At the same time, I came across nano-hydroxyapatite, a safe and biomimetic alternative to fluoride that actively repairs enamel and reduces sensitivity without harsh chemicals.
Kagami was born from the desire to create something better: a daily toothpaste that rebuilds enamel with nano-hydroxyapatite, supports the microbiome with probiotics, and is free of unnecessary additives.
